We’re pushing for postal banking in these communities!
Big banks are increasingly abandoning our communities. That’s one reason why we’re organizing and gathering petition signatures to pressure the Postal Service to provide affordable financial services.
Baltimore, Cleveland, and the Bronx are all in great need of alternatives. Here’s the percentage of households underserved by traditional banks in:
Cleveland, Ohio: nearly 20%
Baltimore, Maryland: nearly 40%
Bronx, New York: more than 52%
If you live, work, or own a business in these areas, sign to demand financial services at your local post offices:
Baltimore: Petition to USPS District Manager Dan Coleman and U.S. Postmaster General Megan Brennan
Bronx: Petition to Bronx Postmaster Marcellina R. Del Pizzo and U.S. Postmaster General Megan Brennan
Cleveland: Petition to USPS District Manager Sharon Young and U.S. Postmaster General Megan Brennan
